The theory course is offered as an online course and is scheduled separately from the practical training with classroom modules. The course is advertised openly and can be booked freely by interested parties (without admission requirements).
There is a written final exam after the course, which must be booked separately. This is required for the "clinical" qualifications Level 2 "Clinical Experience & Nature Therapy Practitioner" and Level 3 "Clinical Experience & Nature Therapist". The final exam is NOT part of the Theory course but is offered and booked additionally.

- Self-understanding of experiential therapy (distinction from experiential education)
- Basics of clinical pictures (psychopathology ICD)
- Basics of psychotropic drugs (how does what work, drug groups)
- Clinical pictures in the context of ET | Treatment options, contraindications
- Learning theories, therapy concepts
- Concept Circle of Courage, Window of Tolerance
- Basics of psychotraumatology
- Focus topics such as ET interventions for eating disorders, addiction, anxiety disorders...
- Basics of attachment theory
- Theoretical basics of reflection & transfer
- Evaluation techniques
- Holistic anamnesis as a basis for therapy planning
- Development of therapy plans
- What are you allowed to treat as an experiential therapist and in which context? (legal)
Participation and passing the written exam after the theory course is a prerequisite for admission to the qualification "Clinical Adventure & Nature Therapy Practitioner" (Level 2) and "Clinical Adventure & Nature Therapist" (Level 3).
